  Bi-nationality Marriage with chil - experiences for registering

  Hello,
  
  I (German) am married to a South African for 7 years now. Since then, we are living in Germany, where our daugter was born 3 years ago. Our marriage was done in Germany, where it is registered. My daughter has a german birth certificate and passport.
  
  What would you say make sense to do in terms of registering (and how will it be done?).
  
  Why should we register our marriage in South Africa as well? Does it help with a possible work permit down there?
  Why should we register our child in RSA, will this lead to a RSA-passport for her (in addition to her German one)?
  What else should we consider to combine best of both sites (legal wise)?
