Dear Mr. Anil Reynold,
Thank you for your inquiry.
It would be our pleasure to assist you with your immigration to South Africa.
It would be great if you could send me your e-mail address in order for me to send you our immigration brochure which should serve you as a guideline and give you a general understanding about your possibilities with regards to the South African immigration regulations currently in place.
In order to properly assess your situation and possibilities as well as assist you we will need further information about your plans in South Africa.
In general the South African immigration regulations offer two forms of work authorisation, the “general work permit” and the “quota work permit”.
The quota work permit is based on the applicant’s professional qualifications and relevant experience, which should not be less than five years. Once issued with the quota work permit, the holder is granted a ninety day period in which to secure a suitable employment position within his/her pre-determined quota category and required to submit proof of employment to the Department. This proof needs to be in form of an established work contract.
Should the quota work permit holder not be able to secure employment within the prescribed ninety days or not have submitted proof of employment, the quota work permit automatically lapses and an entirely new application needs to be submitted.
For the submission of a general work permit it is necessary to submit a number of documents including an employment contract from a South African company. This form of work authorization implies a long process of preparation and/or waiting period.
As you can deduct from our brochure a so called SAQA certificate is crucial for both types of permits. As there is currently no screening process, everybody is deemed to apply for such a certificate, which unfortunately results in a considerable backlog at the South African Qualifications Authority. The current waiting period for the certificate is estimated at anything from 2 to 3 month.
The mentioned certificate confirms your professional qualifications and proofs the same to the South African standard.
Out of experience we can only advise you to seek professional help and assistance with your relocation needs, may this be partly or entirely.
You are most welcome to have a look at our internet site
http://www.immigration-365.com, were you will be able to obtain additional information about your possibilities. In addition it would be my pleasure to forward your CV to several job placement companies in South Africa as to make the job search a little easier.
I would be glad about a reply from your site and remain with
Best Regards
