More flights to Cape Town
FIVE WEEKLY CPT-LHR VIRGIN FLIGHTS LAUNCHED

VIRGIN Atlantic Airways is increasing its current service between LHR and CPT.Between December 7 and January 25, 2006, a third flight on a Thursday midday will be added to the current schedule. From January 29, 2006, until the end of the peak winter season, March 25, 2006, flights will increase to five per week. Departures on an Airbus 340-300 will be on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays departing at 23h10 and arriving in Heathrow at 09h25 the next day. (Natalia Thomson)

SAA GOES DAILY ON CPT-FRA

SAA LAUNCHED daily non-stop flights between Cape Town and Frankfurt on September 12, just over a year since it went thrice-weekly on the route. (Lucy Siebert)

LUFTHANSA ANNOUNCES MORE CT FLIGHTS

LUFTHANSA has released their winter timetable and has announced that they will be increasing their flights between Frankfurt and Cape Town. Daily flights will be available, up from the previous three per week. The new flights will come into force from October 30.(Sue Lewitton)

LH will fly daily in Winter with A346 as well as SAA does!
Services to LHR are provided by SAA (daily) BA (twice daily) and VS (daily)
furthermore LTU , another German Airline connects CPT with Duesseldorf and Munich twice a week each

All other hubs in Europe are connected via Jo'burg

In summertime LH won't fly and LTU will reduce to 1 flight per week to DUS and MUC. SAA will use a A343. The LHR Service won't be changed.

SAA is expanding der Network to Germany by introduce a 3times a Week Service to Munich in July with daily service starting in November.
