    Hi
    Hello Folks!

Like other members of this group I joined because of its name: Spamfree.
Certainly an illusion but a nice ideal to strive for. Freedom.

I work for Inxmail, a german-based company, offering email marketing solutions and services throughout Europe.
We like to consider ourselves as professionals and put all the necessary efforts in innovating, sharing our know-how and respecting our contacts. This includes customers, partners and at the end of the day, all email recipients.

Spam keeps us busy and we try to make sure our serious customers do not end-up caught by spam filters.
As for spammers, we are member of various associations (Eco, DDV, Certified Senders Alliance and soon SNCD - Syndicat National de la Communication Directe) that help identify and block them.

I joined this forum to be on the cutting-edge of anti-spam technologies and methods.
    I'm sure this will happen.

    Best regards to you all
    Jonhattan

    Re: Hi
    Hi Jonhattan,

Thanks for the introduction. It would perhaps be interesting if you share some thoughts on best practices for legitimate email marketing. I know that eco published a paper a while ago that senders in Germany have to adhere in order to comply with the CSA (Certified Senders Alliance) initiative of them. It can be found here: http://www.eco.de/dokumente/Richtlinie_OnlineMarketing_2009.... (I believe an English version is available somehow but I could not find it just now).

It would be interesting to see, how your company implements these guidelines. Also, it what frequently comes up as a question from recipients of legal email marketing: how did they end up with my email address.

    Have a great week!
    Nils
