    Hi everyone!
My name is Rui Nunes and I'm from Portugal, the West Side of Europe. The biggest Atlantic Coast beaches in Europe! ;-) I'm 32 years old and an enthusiast of Internet world. I work in businesses connected to Internet for more than 10 years now. But mainly on Communications and Marketing.

I'm the Portuguese country manager of Canalmail Group.
I'm in this group since 2000, with different responsibilities.
Our core-business is Permission E-mail Marketing and we've been pretty successful with our business policies.
We get the subscribers using the affiliate program, which means, our affiliate make promotion of our service on his site and then, if the person is interested in receiving our e-mail campaigns, they can subscribe using a template form.

The most important knowledge that we can get from this business model is that we cannot in any circumstance, make SPAM and expect them to respond on a positive way. The results speak for their selves. So, the people are receptive if we respect their wish and send them ONLY what they wanted.
That's the reason for our high ROI on our campaigns.

But what concerns me, is that normally our business model is considered by many people by making spam. That's the result of other business models not making the best practices.

I'm also interested in understanding how to make spam become obsolete in time and with more technological answers. It's vital for our business model to grow.
Also, for particular reasons it would be great. I receive an average 2 thousand spam email messages every day that is not filtered from our spam filter.
