  Location of Work: Hamburg, Cologne, Wiesbaden, Stuttgart, Munich, Vienna, Zurich
  
  Education [minimum]: A Bachelors’ degree is required. An equivalent education or extensive work experience might substitute this requirement

  Responsibilities:
  - Consulting customers on business and technical aspects of BI/ DWH topics
  - Designing and implementing applications, reports, and queries for the analysis and assessment of business information
  - Determining the need for information from the user's perspective and designing reporting and key data system (BSC, KPI)
  - Analysing and optimizing business processes and data distribution
  - Designing data warehouse target architectures
  - Data extraction and transformation (ETL)
  - Modelling, expanding, and implementing data warehouse solutions
  - Demand and quality management
  
  Required Skills/Experience:
  - A university degree, ideally specializing in one or more of the following: mathematics, statistics, physics, information management, business administration or an equivalent technical education and background
  - The understanding of complex contexts and excellent analytical and conceptual skills
  - At least 3 years’ experience in consulting and project work, ideally in the data warehouse and business intelligence environment
  - Excellent experience with relational database systems (e.g. Oracle, Teradata, Db2 or MS SQL servers)
  - Familiar with at least one of the following ETL and BI tools: Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle Warehouse Builder, Ascential DataStage - MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Cognos. Moreover, experiences in mastering the design of ETL processes as well as modelling of data models
  - In-depth SQL skills
  - Good instincts recognizing feasibility without neglecting unconventional ideas
  
  Interaction and interfaces:
  Various to project team, in-house departments and external customers
  
  Personal Characteristics:
  - Outstanding customer service skills
  - Flexibility and unrestricted mobility
  - Self-confidence and excellent communication skills, equally in German and English
