    Education [minimum]: A Bachelors’ degree is required. An equivalent education or extensive work experience might substitute this requirement

    Responsibilities:
    - Support of customer projects comprising the analysis of demand, specification, implementation, testing as well as operative support
    - Consulting customers and consolidating business and technical prerequisites
    - Integration, configuration and customisation of process-oriented standard components
    - Conception and implementation of Java-based applications, XML and relational database systems
    - Support of system tests and software installations
    - Establishing and data-modelling of data base systems and reports
    - Preparation of development and user documentation
    - Management of (sub) projects according to level of experiences


    Required Skills/Experience:
    - A university degree, ideally specializing in one or more of the following: mathematics, statistics, physics, information management, business administration or an equivalent technical education and background
    - First experiences in the software or database environment
    - Java and J2EE know-how (preferably in EJB, JMS, JDBC and Web Services environment)
    - SQL know-how
    - First experiences in (web) GUI development (SWING & AWT)
    - Basic experiences with application servers (JBoss, BEA WebLogic)
    - Basic experiences with relational database systems (Oracle, Microsoft SQL server)
    - Comprehension for complex contexts and outstanding analytical and conceptional skills
    - Enthusiasm for IT projects as well as for managing data and interacting in teams

    Various to project team, in-house departments and external customers

    - Outstanding customer service skills
    - Flexibility and unrestricted mobility
    - Self-confidence and excellent communication skills, equally in German and English
