    Hi Starties,

    This is just a brief overview on the upcoming events during the semester.



    RECRUITING

    We already conducted some recruiting events for the new beginners at Hohenheim. But as we have to maintain our structure sustainable, we already put a focus on the new diploma students, and hence we'll have another recruiting event in the end of October.



    EVENTS

    1.) Pragmatic founding:
    Uni never offers checklists. Even in the special materia of E-ship, one is prepared to think like an entrepreneur, but still was not told the exact steps to follow, for example when dealing with the administration offices (tax office, registration office, federal office, etc.) befor and during the "early stage". This is not intended to be taught in an academic programme. Therefore we offer a pragmatic foursome for young student entrepreneurs at the Uni Hohenheim, which will cover the following topics:

    - Relevant questions for entrepreneurs in the matter of Tax, legal form and adhession
    - Composit/liability insurance, other insurances and Insurance taxation
    - Intellectual property law: Patent law
    - Important aspects on contract law: shareholder agreements, Contracts with relatives, Succession regulations.

    2.) Workshop in cooperation with KPMG
    Due to our contacts to KPMG we would like to conduct a workshop in January. Conception/organisation will be on our side. Conduction and cost on KPMG. However, concepts are not detailed enough to give you broad information about it.

    3.) Party event in December?
    Together with our new juniors we would like to organise a quick and easy party event, mostly for the integration of our new members. Please feel invited. We'll give you further details.



    MISCELLANEOUS

    1.) Expansion of the bw office.
    Having three universities at Stuttgart, the plans are getting more and more precise to enlarge the office and open some branches to our neighbour unis, to make the name START"bw" finally fitting. First expansion step will be the technical business school at Stuttgart center.

    2.) Network agreement (NA)
    First steps for the formal board restruction are taken. On one of the future next meetins we will have an newly elected student chairman, to comly with the NA.
