  Liebe Storage Interessierte,
  
  wieder neigt sich ein Jahr dem Ende zu. Den an dieser Stelle üblichen Jahresrückblick will ich mir - und ihnen - ersparen. Schauen wir lieber nach vorn, denn auch 2007 warten sicher wieder viele Herausforderungen (Probleme gibt es ja quasi nicht mehr) darauf gelöst zu werden, und es gibt sicher jetzt schon viele Ziele, die sie in 2007 erreichen wollen. Egal ob Berater oder Endanwender, egal ob im Grossunternehmen oder beim "KMU" - das Paradoxon dass diejenigen, die sowieso schon viel zu tun haben, noch Arbeit dazu bekommen, ist trotz modernster Technik (oder gerade deshalb?) offenbar nicht lösbar.
  
  Ich wünschen ihnen allen für 2007 alles Gute und dass sie möglichst viele ihrer Ziele erreichen. Doch gerade deshalb wünsche ich ihnen auch, dass sie eine vernünftige Balance zwischen Job und Privatleben halten (oder erreichen). Bleiben sie gesund!

  Dear storage community,
  
  again a year comes to its end. At this place usually you find the common review of the year, I will spare myself - and yourselves - this here and now. Please look ahead instead, because 2007 will be again a year with big new challenges (I think it is no more named "problems"), and there are several objectives to aim at. In any case, if you are a consultant or if you are an end user, if you work for a big company or for a SMB, the paradox that the ones who have plenty of work get even more work, seem to be unsolvable, instead of all those new technologies (or - because of those?).
  
  I wish you for 2007 all the best, and may you reach most of your objectives. But just because of this I wish you as well, that you hold (or establish) a reasonable work-life-balance. Stay healthy!
