    Re: Book recommendations
    Hello All!

I think refactoring is method for improvement code but don't effect to architecture of application.
Refactoring is well, but is not all.

I think good book for architeters and senior developers:
"Patterns of enterprise application architecture" Mattin Fowler.

What do you thing, dear All?

    With best regars, Sergey Chernolyas

I wonder, that no one mention the gang of four book and specially the POSA-series,

I have read POSA1 and 2 from Frank Buschmann et. al. and I think it is the basic introduction to get into the pattern theme.

I you wonna read the basic book about patterns, read Christopher Alexander

A Pattern Language: Towns, Buildings, Construction (Center for Environmental Structure Series)

There a new movements in Refactoring Architecture from Michael Stal (Siemens). I listened to a session last year at the OOP.

We will see if there will be a POSA 6 book about this theme.

I also like the book from Luke Holmann (Beyound Software Architecture). It describes all non-technical requirements for the architecture.
