    Our Client is the Luxembourg based Private Banking Entity of a major Global Financial Institution, active in banking, insurance and asset management. More than 105.000 people work for this institution in 85 countries in virtually every area of the financial services industry.

    The Luxembourg Private Banking Entity takes part in the building of the financial proprietary of wealthy Private Clients all along their life’s steps. This is achieved by adopting a global approach in asset planning and financial expertise. Private Banking Clients require a made-to-measure service as well as a range of standard products.

    Within the framework of the development of their International Private Banking activities, we are looking to recruit a

    SENIOR PRIVATE BANKER (m/f) – GERMAN DESK

    Job description

    As a Senior Private Banker (m/f) - German Desk you will:

    - Provide, in “tandem” with a Portfolio Manager, a personal and high-level banking service to your client portfolio;
     Focus on the acquisition of new clients and develop and maintain the existing contacts;
     Meet the prospects and the clients in order to live up to their expectations regarding the planning of their capital assets;
     Treat the client’s demands by documenting their questions from different angles (fiscal, financial and investment) in order to maximize the client-oriented service whilst meeting all the bank’s requirements in regard to financial income, diligence and compliance;
     Assure an efficient communication with all possible interveners of the client and ascertain that a good client follow-up is obtained;
     Keep continuously updated on all topics related to private banking (financial, fiscal capital assets, market behavior…) in order to deliver a high level service;
    - Meet and create a professional network within different professional environments.

    Your profile

    Knowledge and experience

    - University study in Finance/Economics or equivalent professional experience;
    Significant experience: min. 10 years as a Relationship Manager in Private Banking or Wealth Management, or even in Portfolio management;
     Potential candidates should have a substantial network within the German Wealth Market;
     Strong CRM skills, along with the ability to hunt and develop new business, is essential.

    - Commercial Drive; Excellent presentation skills;
     Great interest in finding new ways of problem solving for your clients;
     Entrepreneurial behavior;
     Great sense of autonomy and good analyzing, judgment and synthetic skills;
     Open-minded and team player;

    Languages

     German as mother tongue;
     Fluency in English;
    - French could be considered an asset.
