My client is a semiconductor manufacturer specialising cutting edge products, particularly relevant to the current trends in technology. Expansion and success has led to an opening for a Senior Characterisation Engineer.
FOR THIS POSITION IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU SPEAK GERMAN.
You role will mainly involve characterisation of the process and the resulting wafers. Other duties include:
-Define, implement, and execute characterization methods on tool, wafer, and device structure level
- Support the optimization of crystalline quality of (In)(Al)GaN for LED and HV applications with measurements and their physical interpretation
- Provide manufacturable standard characterization methods for volume production ensuring customer requirements are fulfilled
- Provide stable equipment and processes to production and improve continuously
- Support development group with know how about special measurement technologies to go to the next level of epitaxial performance
- Participate in next generation tool design and selection
- Contribute to the companies patent and know how portfolio
You will therefore need senior-level experience in applied solid state physics, preferably semiconductor physics, especially in the field of characterization methodologies. In addition, you will need a strong physical and technological background applicable for epitaxy, metrology know how to turn the measurement results to structure improvement and to define inline and off line characterization for quality and yield control. Experience in LED and/or HV or RF device structures and their behaviour would be advantage
You will be rewarded for your skills and experience with a salary of 50-80,000 Euros depending on your level of experience.
