Senior Epitaxy Engineer, Germany - up to 80,000 Euros
My client is a semiconductor manufacturer specialising cutting edge products, particularly relevant to the current trends in technology. Expansion and success has led to an opening for a Senior Epitaxy Engineer.

FOR THIS POSITION IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU SPEAK GERMAN.

Optimize current concept and develop improved alternative concepts for strain management for GaN on Silicon growth. Other duties include:

- Optimization of crystalline quality of (In)(Al)GaN for LED and HV applications
- Realization of application specific and customer specific epitaxial structures together with LED and HV designers and customers
- Provide manufacturable products as a development result that fulfil functionality, quality, yield, and cost requirements
- Provide stable equipment and processes to production and improve continuously
- Participate in next generation tool design and selection
- Propose and develop tailored measurement processes with characterization group to ensure product performance
- Contribute to the companies patent and know how portfolio

You will therefore need senior level experience in a III/V epitaxy related function encompassing all areas of responsibility. In addition, you require a strong physical and technological background in epitaxy with metrology know how to turn the measurement results to structure improvement and to define inline and off line characterization for quality and yield control. Experience in LED and/or HV or RF device structures is essential.

You will be rewarded for your skills and experience with a salary of 50-80,000 Euros depending on your level of experience.
