  Senior LED Development Engineer, Germany - up to 80K Euros

  My client is a semiconductor manufacturer specialising cutting edge products, particularly relevant to the current trends in technology. Expansion and success has led to an opening for a Senior Engineer for LED Development.
  
  FOR THIS POSITION IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU SPEAK GERMAN.
  
  You role will mainly involve the development of LED devices. This will involve requirements definition. Other duties include:
  
  - Define, implement, and execute product roadmap for LED development
  - Support the optimization of products together with customer, marketing, and internal growth and characterization experts
  - Analyse performance, set up improvement plans and execute them
  - Design and execute DOE together with growth experts
  - Provide manufacturable standard products ensuring customer requirements are fulfilled
  - Support growth and characterization experts with know how about technical customer requirements and drive exploitation
  - Participate in next generation product definition and design
  
  You will therefore require senior level experience in LED design, preferably on GaN devices. You will need some basic physical and technological background for epitaxy to enable cooperation with growth experts. In addition, experience of device and structural characterization techniques and experience in lamp design (FE process and packaging).
  
  You will be rewarded for your skills and experience with a salary of 50-80,000 Euros depending on your level of experience.
