    Esnatech’s NEW Mobile UC Client for iPhone and Google Android
    Value in Esnatech UC Extension:

    The NEW Mobile UC Client embedded within the Esnatech UC service for Telephony Office-LinX 8.0, integrates with any PBX on an industry-standard server. Mobile staff can make and receive calls from anywhere, using any of their unlimited defined devices and SIP endpoints as if they are in the office, maintaining their corporate identity (single number reach) and always accessible to customers and colleagues (business continuity and first call resolution). In addition, UC Extension means costs savings in terms of cellular charges. Cellular long distance charges are reduced since long distance calls can route through the corporate communications system at lower rates.

    Mobile UC Extensions introduces two capabilities which are new for business users: Trusted Routing (TR) and External Hot Desking. The TR allows the user to define trusted devices and endpoints which appear to an outside party as the user’s office extension, but which can also take advantage of PBX calling features (transfer, hold, etc.). The user enters trusted phone numbers and addresses in their web client or over the phone, these can be internal numbers (extension numbers or direct dial numbers, etc.) or external numbers, such as a home number or mobile phone number, and even SIP addresses for soft phones and voice and video SIP endpoints. The application uses External Hot Desking to extend call control, as well as the user's identity and presence to any devices which are external to the enterprise network. Once on a call, the user can seamlessly transfer (push/pull) between the devices. For example, a user can answer a call on their desk telephone, click a hand-off button on their PC, mobile phone or deskphone to ‘push’ this call to a mobile phone (defined in the TR), while they leave the office and continue the call over a cellular network.
    Esnatech UC Extension has the following Key Advantages:

    * Fixed-to-Mobile Convergence
    * Single unified mailbox connected to email
    * Hot Desk any device (internal/external to the enterprise network)
    * Desktop and mobile phone access
    * Push/Pull (seamless call transfer among defined devices)
    * Unlimited devices defined, including a legacy phone or any mobile phone

    UC Extension adds to several other mobile options already available for enterprise customers, including UC Mobile—no additional charge for iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Nokia, Native WiFi support and UC Clients. While all of these remain viable options, UC Extension represents a forward-looking and simplified alternative for so-called “road warriors and remote workers.”
