Dear group members,
the first quarter of 2009 is nearly over now and it still seems that the impact of the economic crisis is at least very small compared with other industries. According to a recent Detecon study 41% of the European telco companies don't expect any impact on growth objectives in 2009.
There was quite an optimistic mood at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and the Cebit regarding the telco market especially for mobile internet and converged services.
One of the next major telco events is the TeleManagement-World 2009 in Nice, organized by the TeleManagement Forum.
