MTS and Megafon to acquire NetByNet
Megafon and Multiregion, the subsidiaries of MTS, are to acquire a 100% stake in Fairlie Holding & Finance Limited, the main holding company of NetByNet, according to the Federal Antimonopoly Service. NetByNet comprises internet providers in Moscow and the Central Federal Province. The company is the fourth-largest ISP in terms of number of broadband internet subscribers, after Komstar-OTS, Beeline and Akado-Stolitsa. NetByNet has 8% of the broadband internet private user market in Moscow.
