Russia becomes global leader in Internet advertising
Russia has become the fastest-growing Internet advertising market in 2010, overtaking China, India and Brazil, according to a research study conducted by J’son & Partners Consulting. The Russian Internet advertising market grew by 42% in 2010 in comparison to 2009, while in China it grew by 35% and in India and Brazil by 30% each. Online context advertising increased its share from 53.7% in 2009 to 56.1% in 2010.
