    Toastmasters WebTV ?
Youtube is an amazing marketing tool
a lot of toastmasters video are already online.

One other usefull marketing tool is mogulus
Mogulus is a Revolution in Live Television, a chance for anyone to broadcast live and "on air" from their own Web connection, the possibility to include Youtube content without any effort.
    http://www.mogulus.com

It's possible to build quicky an online TV
    to include rss informations ...

It's possible to publish the WebTV on each Club Web site,
    each blog ...

It's possible to manage the WebTV with several admins
a collaborative tool, in the spirit of the Toastmasters Wikia
A channel could be created by language.

I use Mogulus for a French community
you could see an exemple on a personnal page http://www.ljvd.com/faq-commercial/

Someone want to launch and manage this project ?

I've not time for that, but I will be pleased to help you during the launching phase.
    My Mogulus profil is ljvd

    Hi Laurent,

That is indeed such a cool tool! Thanks a lot for the tip!

I already signed up for the beta.

I am planning a Wordpress Blog for our club, and this "mogulus" would fit well into the game.

I am confident I will use this stuff in the future in one way or another.

Thanks and best from Vienna, Niko

    Hi Laurent,

I just got my logins for Mogulus Beta, and was very happy to play around with it, cool stuff ;-).
Anyway, I also created a test version of a TM channel and "branded" it as TMTV (Toastmasters TV).
You can see it under our club homepage: http://www.toastmasters.at / TMTV live on air
    or directly at http://www.mogulus.com/toastmasters

I have also send you an invitation to join as a contributor to add more stuff to the channel, lets make it a success!

I would be happy to hear your comments and feedback. Thanks and best, Niko

here and under your WebTV on your dedicated webpage ?

I have also send you an invitation to join as a contributor to add more stuff to the channel, lets make it a success!

    Hi Laurent,

Thanks for your ticker code and your feedback!

Here is the code for the embed:

    Embed this channel:
    <script src="http://www.mogulus.com/scripts/player.js?channel=toastmaster..." type="text/javascript"></script>

    Best, Niko

    Re^6: Toastmasters WebTV ?
Due to the automatic short url service of Xing,
the code can't be published here

Perhaps could you put the code under the webTV, in your web page ?
    like on this page :

    http://ljvd.com/Toastmasters-WebTV.html
    or with myspace blog
    http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&f...

( feel free to copy and past the html source code)

    Best Regards,
    Laurent

    Hi Nico,
the idea of Toastmasters WebTV sounds challenging to me. I would like to encourage my club to use it. How can I help the taskforce and how can you help me?
    Yours,
    Hans Peter

    Re^2: Toastmasters WebTV ?
    Dear Hans-Peter,

Our baby was just born last week, therefore my late reply :-) ...

    2 do:
    - please login to http://.http://www.mogulus.com and get your own access codes (takes a few days)
    - once you have them, let me know, and we will take you from there

there are a few things you can do (add speeches to our web tv, make your own club channel,..)

in the meanwhile promote toastmasters in an innovative way, and add the Web-TV (just copy and paste the embed code) to your club homepage and/or blog. See our Vienna homepage as an example how it will look...

If you have any questions, please dont hesitate to email me directly, ask Laurent, or post a message in this forum.

    Thanks and best, Niko
