Online agenda systems: migrating from Freetoasthost to Easy-Speak
    Hi,
the Prestigious Speakers Barcelona have been using an online tool "roster.cgi" on the "freetoasthost" platform to puzzle together our meeting agendas. Every member has access to this, and can online volunteer for any meeting role, such as Toastmaster of the Evening (TME), Tabletopics Master, Timer, but also for one of the 4 speaker slots.

We are currently in the process of getting started with Easy-Speak, which has more functionality on a lot of aspects. Here is a good list of its features: http://easy-speak.org/kb.php?mode=article&k=9
Since we are a European continental club, we use the hosted system on http://district59.eu . Neither freetoasthost nor Easy-Speak need to be installed or paid for - which is good.

I would like to hear from other clubs that have also done this step from one to the other, what things they stumbled across, etc. How has been acceptance of the new sytem, and which things work better than before, or not so good?
For example, one functionality that is currently missing in Easy-Speak is the text field to add an introduction for your own speech, that would then only be displayed / printed for the TME.
Also, how did the club members cope with the change, that in Easy-Speak you don't book your speech into a specific meeting, but instead you say the speech is prepared, and than wait for the VPE or TME to assign them to a meeting & speaker slot.

Thanks for sharing your experience ... and if you have any question on this topic for me - just ask ;)
    Regards, Kai
