Introduction of my Transfer Pricing Book
    Hello everyone,

I would like to take the opportunity to introduce my new book about the problems of SMEs with the German transfer pricing regulations. The book was developed during a project of a manufacturer of special machines. The task was to implement a transfer pricing policy within this organization. The book will provide the reader with an overview of problems the company faces and gives also a guideline how most of these problems can be solve with the help of a transfer pricing policy.

The overview of the problems is divided between administrative and legal. After a description of the problems and the impact on the organization the book give some advice how this company handles the problems. Furthermore contain the book samples of relevant documents.

I also would like to share some key findings with you. The organizations face an immense increase of administrative responsibility to ensure the compliance with the arm's length principle. Transfer pricing policies can ensure that the relevant documents are in place when the documents will be created for the tax administration. Another problem is the missing interpretation of legal terms which will lead to confusion at organization how to follow the regulations.

For more information about problems with the transfer pricing regulations please order my book to get an quick overview and learn how to solve theses issues :-)

The title of the book is: Probleme der Transfer Pricing Dokumentationspflichten: Lösungswege am Beispiel eines mittelständischen Spezialmaschinenherstellers

If you have any questions regarding the book please don't hesitate to contact.

Thanks a lot to the moderators to give me the opportunity to present my book to you all.

    Best regards,

Re: Introduction of my Transfer Pricing Book
    Hey Dominik,

first of all, thanks for sharing your knowledge within this group and for this short description of your book.

I think your chosen topic is very interesting, since most of the SME companys dont have the manpower to research such a complex area like transfer prcing and, in most cases, are not willing to spend too much for consultants. So this book could be a good start to get an overview and a sense for the problems that could come up with transfer pricing.

I'm currently working for a SME (funny enough, a special machine producing company) and i know how important transfer pricing issues are in everyday business. In my opinion this is even more important, considering that also small companys are forced (or allowed) to participate in the global market and maybe shift some of their processes to another country.

Hopefully we'll have some good discussions in this forum, so long,

    best regards,

    Ludwig Eisenblätter
