I enjoyed Jim’s letter (Dear Boss) which reminded me of the continuous debate on ISO standards and especially on QMS ISO 9001:2000; have you come across research / studdy that supports having ISO?

Dear All, I am conducting a study on guidelines that organize consultants and management trainers’ engagement with organizations. Are you aware of any international framework / standard or certification scheme in this area? 4 years back I completed my Master in Quality Management. At that time we were 26 students doing the masters. This year, there are more than 150 students who are doing the master in the same university. This is in addition to the tremendous positive trend in the number of Six Sigma and other methods's professionals. The question is: Is that a trend across the world?
