Dutch Insurer Aegon enters Turkish market
Dutch insurer Aegon that acquired Turkiye's Ankara Emeklilik has entered Turkish life insurance and pension market on Wednesday. Aegon said it aims to become one of top five insurers in Turkiye in the next five years. Gabor Kepecs, Aegon's CEO for Central and Eastern Europe, stated his company would seek any opportunities, including new acquisitions, to grow in Turkiye. Ankara Emeklilik, with over 54,000 pension fund members, was managing about 35 million euros.
