  Turkiye-World Trade Bridge Summit Takes off

  Turkish Businessmen's and Industrialists' Confederation, or TUSKON, will host an international meeting to bring together businesspeople seeking opportunities from around the world.
  
  "Turkey-World Trade Bridge" is set to begin on June 14 in Istanbul, and nearly 3,400 businesspeople from 135 countries around the globe will participate in the six-day event. The meetings will end on June 20.
  
  Some 1,600 translators will interpret the discussions into 38 languages, and the participating businesspeople will form delegations and visit 62 provinces of Turkey.
  
  TUSKON Executive Board President Rizanur Meral said the event was the biggest purchasing organization of the world.
  
  A "ministers summit" will take place on June 14 under the leadership of Zafer Çağlayan, state minister for foreign trade.
  
  TUSKON says it expected that the event would see the signing of business deals worth around $7 billion. The event would also be a venue for a meeting of ministers from 30 countries.
