  Did social media attack harm BP’s bottom line
  
  Lately we have seen big brands being attacked on social media: Intel, Nestlé, United, Shell, BNP, Bank of America and many more. But in terms of bad online sentiment, it didn’t get much worse than BP’s.
  The big question: Did the heavy social media attack hurt the sales of the company? Did the boycott movement hurt the sales?
