United Nations Institute for Social Development

UNRISD is an autonomous UN agency engaging in multidisciplinary research on the social dimensions of contemporary problems affecting development. Through its research, UNRISD stimulates dialogue and contributes to policy debates on key issues of social development within and outside the United Nations system.
UNRISD would like to expand the pool of users of its research. Forum threads will be set up related to the research topics covered by UNRISD. The discussions can be enhanced by refering to related publications, while members can evaluate and discuss the contents of the publications.
The group is aimed at anyone interested in social development issues, professionals and non-professionals alike. Furthermore, the group shall serve as a platform to exchange new ideas and to give feedback on current social development topics.
