  Hi,
  
  Thanks for the welcome.
  
  I have been engaged in sales and marketing for about ten years now, always in the publishing field. I started out doing telesales for a business publisher, selling advertising space - the most difficult of all! I moved on to managing a bookshop for a professional association, doing everything that needed doing there.
  Since 2005 I have been involved with the pharmaceutical industry, basically doing business development, and then marketing management for medcomm companies and academic publishers. As such I have a wealth of experience selling high-end products to discerning customers, and have worked in almost every aspect of the sales & marketing operation.
  I have just relocated to berlin, and have joined a fresh start-up (we only launch in January), where hopefully my experience and skills will be a valuable addition to the company's endeavours.
