    Hello from the USA!
I am Pamela Johnston and have been professional voice talent since 1995. I provide US English, neutral America's Spanish, neutral HochDeutsch, and some French language as well as many accents including US Southern, Russian, French, German, British, Irish, and Asian. You can hear my demos on my website at http://www.PJVoiceTalent.com.

I primarily work from my home studio now. I do not yet have an ISDN connection but am interested in using Source Connect. I have worked remotely from a professional studio.

I think that audiobooks should be voiced by the best talent, which is not always a celebrity. I have special training in audiobook work from an award winning instructor.

I do not have any experience with a voiceover union. So far I find plenty of work as nonunion talent.

Yes, I think the web has dramatically changed how business is done in our industry. The many websites that allow anyone to search for and book talent have naturally introduced people who do not book talent on a regular basis. They often do not know what to expect or how much to pay. And many talents have gotten into the business without proper training. But it is what we deal with!

I cannot tell you whether demo CDs/DVDs are better marketing tools than web based voiceover samples. I think the ability to email an MP3 file is probably the request that I get the most. Having a CD/DVD may make it easier for a producer to find you if they remember you from the cover you chose.

I do not carry my own microphone to a professional studio. I think that there are so many mikes out there, it is sometimes nice to hear your voice through a different one!

I look forward to hearing from other voice talents from around the world!

    hi.

    Thank you for the intorduction.

Quite a few languages and accents there! No wonder you get plenty of projects.
