"Imagine cruising down the Spree on a late summer's evening, enjoying some of the best Sauvignon Blancs that Australia and New Zealand can offer, dining on fresh and succulent king prawns. Dream no further, our next Vivanova event on Wednesday 22nd September is offering you just that experience and this year we have added live jazz entertainment!
We have picked three wonderful Sauvignon Blancs from our portfolio and these
will be tasted in turn as we take you through Berlin on an open topped (with
covered dining area) and cosy cruise boat, the "Blue Star". To complement these wines, we will serve fresh king prawns steamed with sesame oil, soy sauce and coriander. The piquant oriental flavours bring out the wonderful Sauvignon fruit flavours of these wines, perfect partners! We will also have a celebrated jazz pianist, Jeffrey Ernst entertaining us as we cruise!

Yanmah Ridge Sauvignon Blanc 2003, Manjimup, Western Australia Craggy Range Sauvignon Blanc 2002, Martinborough, New Zealand
Geoff Weaver Sauvignon Blanc 2003, Adelaide Hills, Australia
We are expecting this to be an interesting and fun event as the wines are of
fantastic quality and the cuisine fresh and zesty. The cruise will be leaving
from a location near the Maerkisches Museum U-Bahn station, Berlin Mitte at
19.30 and we will be serving a sparkling wine aperitif from 18.45 at the
quayside (further location details will be available upon booking). Tickets will
cost EUR 40 per person (EUR 35 for Vivanova members) and are available by
reservation only, bookings are limited to fifty.
