Which red wine can handle sauce with Vinegar in the main course?
Sauce with vinegar is very hard to pair with red wine and especially white wine. But if you do have a vinegrette sauce in your main course, the wine that can really handle this strong vinegar is Amarone from northern Italy.

If you tried it or will try it, I would like to hear your thoughts.

Amarone is nice, but priceworthy. Depending on the course, even a good valpolcella or chianti will do. An interesting alternative from my perspective would be a young pinot noir from Roemania, still well in it's acids.
