New FDA Law in the US
Effective December 12, 2003, the anti-bioterrorism law was inforced on local and international manufacturers (including wineries) selling products in the United States to register with the FDA. The FDA issues a number to the manufacturer after assigning a US agent. The FDA registration number should be displayed on each invoice and every importation paperwork of the product to be released in customs.
