Die Spanne moderner Arzneistoffe reicht von synthetischen "small molecule" Wirkstoffen bis hin zu Biopharmazeutika wie monoklonalen Antikörpern, Cytokinen oder Fusionsproteinen. Von der Forschung und Entwicklung bis zur Vermarktung vergehen viele Jahre. Von der Drug Discovery bis zu den klinischen Phasen sind die unterschiedlichsten Experten beteiligt. Um entlang dieser Kaskade sowie zwischen Chemie, Pharma und Biotechnologie mehr Austausch und Vernetzung zu fördern, haben wir diese Gruppe gegründet. Sie soll ein Forum sein, in dem sich jeder „einfach mal“ vorstellen oder konkrete Fragen loswerden kann.
