Putin visit underscores struggle for Southeast Europe pipelines
Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Italy and Greece this week has geopolitical significance in Moscow’s drive to secure the flow of hydrocarbons in Southeast Europe. In the third visit of the president to Greece for the last two years, Putin will be in Athens on March 14-15.
