    Earth Day Awareness and Celebrations – April 22, 2009
    Hello Everyone,

    World Earth Day will be observed on April 22. It is the only event celebrated simultaneously around the globe by people of all backgrounds, faiths and nationalities. The United Nations celebrates Earth Day each year. It marks the beginning of the modern environmental movement aimed at lifting the status of environmental issues onto the world stage.

    Goethe-Zentrum in collaboration with PASCH will present Earth Day in Hyderabad. The celebration is an observance held annually during spring in the northern hemisphere and autumn in the southern hemisphere. The celebration is intended to inspire awareness of and appreciation for the Earth’s environment.
