    Hello Everyone,

    The much awaited, critically acclaimed, and award winning film Slumdog Millionaire will be releasing in Hyderabad, India on 23rd January, 2009.

    Incredible movie!!! I just saw the movie in the USA last week ! WOW!!!!! A feel-good movie of the year! Slumdog Millionaire is based on the book Q and A written by Indian author and diplomat Vikas Swarup. The film, shot and set in India, follows a young man from the slums of Mumbai.

    With the whole nation watching, 18-year-old Jamal Malik is just one question away from winning a staggering 20 million rupees on India's "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" But when the show breaks for the night, police arrest him on suspicion of cheating. Desperate to prove his innocence, Jamal tells the story of his life, and as he does a more important question emerges: What is a young man with no apparent desire for riches really doing on this game show?

    Slumdog Millionaire had a limited release on 12 November 2008 to critical acclaim and awards success. Slumdog Millionaire swept five awards out of its six nominations at the Critics Choice Awards on January 8th, 2009. It picked up Best Director, Best Writing, Best Young Actor/Actress, Best Composer, and Best Picture.

    Hello Everyone,

    The 2009 Oscar nominations will be out in just 10 days. However, most critics have already guessed what most of the Oscar nominations will be. Not only that, most critics have already guessed who the big winners will likely be. This is especially true for Best Picture for Slumdog Millionaire.
