Dear group members,
I am happy to join your group and I am looking forward to an exciting exchange between ourselves. Due to my family ties and professional experience in the Middle East I have followed the economic development in the Arabic World, which has been exciting indeed.
I myself have got my origins in Frankfurt am Main/Germany, my wife has got hers in Maadi/Cairo. We have spent together in total 18 years in Germany, in Egypt and in South-East Asia, which again characterizes us and our four kids - two of them born in Singapore, the other two in Germany - as international and intercultural minds. Our kids are 15, 12, 11 and 9 years old and they keep us busy, of course. We currently live in the Munich area and are feeling quite happy here.
I am an interim manager from profession, focussing on the area of finance and controlling. In this capacity I provide "management on demand" to interested companies for a certain period of time. For instance, I help e.g. German companies in setting up business abroad, implementing the growth strategies and to attain the according targets. Here I gained special experience as commercial executive in the Middle East as well as in East Asia. I support and lead as well in change management situations such as turnarounds and restructurings. In this filed I also got special experience in various projects.
I am sure that good economic opportunities will present themselves in the Middle East in the future and I would be happy to be a part of it and do business over there as well.
Via XING I manage professional and private exchange and I find it to be a very useful and exciting instrument. I hope that I will get to know the one or the other of you in person as well and wish to all of you a good and successful business and a pleasant time.
Best regards from Lake Starnberg to everybody where ever you may be in this moment.
