  when we got here, we stayed in hotel with a poster on the wall, "vienna, city of my dreams" a picture of the catherdral.
  i have walked miles in this city, gazing up at the architecture, gaxing into cafes and bars and outstanding rooms etc,, and watching people at life and leisure.
  there is the pool on top of the hill where you can swim, while looking out over the whole panorama of vienna, there is just so much here, something for everyone!
  
  i just popped in here to post a comment about going into local shops and chatting to the owners as a way of meeting people in a strange town/country. but also in Vienna i started http://www.firsttuesday.com/vienna in 1999 , and am relaunching it now, for ideas to meet money, and that gave me a lit of insights into both the city and the people :-)
