  EMEA Senior Energy Engineer (Energy savings/mentoring), can be located anywhere in DE/European Union

  The purpose of this position is to contribute to the financial performance and customer satisfaction results of a geographic location (region/district/branch) and/or Line Of Business Energy Solutions by providing support in terms of technical and commercial expertise in the conceptual, design and installation phases of Energy Retrofit and Energy Performance Contracting projects. These activities include peer reviews, process and tools alignment and standardization, skills development, best practice capture and exchange and, in pertinent instances, project-specific solutions development as a Project-Lead.
  This person will be also a Coach/mentor and will be responsible for identifying and understanding the energy and mechanical related problems within a customer's facility to develop comprehensive, cost-effective technical solutions that increase the operational and energy efficiency of the site.
  
  Desired Skills & Experience
  * Degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering, preferably HVAC
  * Min of 5+ years experience in an energy solutions engineering role working in the energy industry on highly complex technical solutions
  * Experience performing energy analysis and investment-grade audits
  * Experience in coaching and mentoring field staff; desire and ability to motivate and develop a technical team in a functional role
  * Ability to both quickly and accurately analyze and quantify energy consumption and savings
  * Demonstrate business, job costing, financial, contract management, and leadership and customer skills
  * Must be willing to travel up to 75% across the Region and/or EMEA
  * LEED Certification (or equivalent) and/or CHP Certification
  * Subject Matter Expert (SME) in either Mechanical or Electrical ECMs with ability to transfer knowledge
