Adam Block graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on hotel restaurant management. Entering the workforce, Adam Block built up his skills before founding Block & Associates, LLC (B&A), a restaurant consulting organization.
Working with customers worldwide, Adam Block and B&A have been involved in more than 1,200 industry projects. He works with restaurants as well as arena concessions, golf course operations, stadiums, and the hotel industry. Among his many services, Adam Block works with clients in the areas of lease negotiations, asset management, development, strategic planning, and market analysis.
Expanding his business credentials, Adam Block opened two popular food facilities in Manhattan's Ink48 hotel in 2010. Print Restaurant, positioned on the hotel's main floor adjacent to the lobby, prepares and serves seasonal dishes to its guests. Deciding to focus on fresh ingredients to keep his menu constantly updated as well as to give patrons something to anticipate during their visit, Adam Block hired a forager to visit local farms and regional suppliers for the absolute best ingredients and spices. Within its first year of operation, the Print Restaurant was ranked number 25 by Zagat and received a listing in the Michelin Guide.
Adam Block's second Ink48-based dining facility, the Press Lounge, resides on the rooftop of the 16th floor. There, Adam Block and his patrons enjoy fashionable cocktails while taking in the Manhattan skyline. Recently, ABCNews.com named the Press Lounge one of the top 22 Rooftop Bars in the World.
