About me
As Travel Manager for three Kraft Foods’ regions, I report directly to the Ass. Dir. of Global Travel. Global Travel Services reports to Kraft Foods Enterprise Shared Services, which is part of the global IS/IT organization.
Stakeholders:
Regional VP HR; Regional Procurement Leads.
30’000 registered travellers in 49 countries.
My role as Travel Manager can be split in three key activities:
· Defining and aligning the strategy in all aspects of travel;
· Execute and lead key implementation and changes;
· Support the business to further optimise spend and processes;
Strategy:
· Develop the three year travel category road map together with key procurement contacts in the regions;
· Procurement activities;
· Demand and behaviour management;
· Saving targets;
· Processes optimisation;
· Align the business in understanding opportunities for process efficiencies and savings related to travel cross regional;
· Design and/or adjust the regional travel policies in line with the global guidelines;
Execution:
· Lead implementation of key suppliers and or process efficiencies. I.e. Travel Agency, Payment Solutions, Travel Technology, Relocation process;
· Key stake holder and point of escalation for our global key partner: BCD Travel;
Support:
· Support the business in best practice communication for demand and behaviour management;
· Support the business to understand the end-to-end travel & expense management process and unlock efficiencies;
· Support procurement organization in strategic and tactical RFP management for travel categories;
During the past three years, I successfully lead the RFP, negotiations and implementation of our new strategic partner, BCD Travel, for all 49 countries. I successfully introduced on-line booking tools in 20 European and three Asia-Pacific markets. I moved the business in KFE from various travel payment processes to one single T&E card solution that integrates with our expense solution.
