About me
Ahmad worked on creating strategic and tactical plans for different brands and product lines, frequently for more than 25 countries, many times working with factories for developing products more suitable to the region, establishing these brands’ market presence, localizing the marketing, channel and go to market plans, observing differences in markets according to different national and societal factors, an effort that sometimes contributed to a revolutionary growth of a complete industry.
As the ‘owner’ of different products, Ahmad frequently held the responsibility for creating, developing and preparing an efficient and aggressive sales force. His work included preparing – for the use of different sales teams – sales presentations, sales pitches, ‘Unique Selling Point’ campaigns, and training material for the different teams spread out across the region. While working for world class companies, he conducted numerous trainings and seminars that focused on enhancing marketing capabilities, developing sales skills, improving sales communications, product knowledge and customer relationship management.
Some examples of the results achieved during this period include:
• Driving a certain product to market share leadership, beating market growth by more than 50%
• Significantly strengthening market leadership by exploiting strategic shifts in market places for another product, and
• Tripling a third product’s market share while simultaneously registering record profitability and expanding customer base.
All coupled with significant wins and successes of partners in the different fields.
Although Ahmad’s initial education is a bachelors of engineering (AUB – Lebanon), and his current is a Master’s in Business Administration (Oxford – UK), his educational interests include public administration, sociology, psychology, literature, physics and math… among others.
