About me

My undergraduate background is in traffic and transportation engineering. i worked in government and private companies for almost a decade in this line of work. I worked on large projects (multi-lane, multi-mode, multi-mile transportation projects), as well as smaller, private developments (supermarkets and retail stores). Each had a myriad of traffic and transportation issues and challenges associated. All involved parsing complex data into readable forms, and presenting results to the public and to clients.

From there, I moved into technology by becoming a software product manager at a publicly traded company. I've always had an eye toward technology, and infused it in my everyday life at my previous positions. This product management role allowed me to transfer a skill set of project management over to product management. I worked with talented individuals and teams to oversee the re-architecture of a major release of software.

From there, I stayed in the same company, and changed roles to our first-ever Director of Social Media. I was able to leverage my deep skill set from my MBA I earned, with a focus on technology entrepreneurship and social technologies.

I am interested in social media, social networking, new business ideas, new media, start-ups, and entrepreneurship.
