About the company and Expert Alis Sindbjerg Hemmingsen
My name is Alis Sindbjerg Hemmingsen. I have worked within procurement for the last 15 years, both operationally and tactically. Now I am running a consultancy company specialized in Responsible Procurement (and also sustainable procurement).
I started the company because I could see a need for expertise and training within this important area.Engaging suppliers in the company´s sustainability strategy is a change management process, like any other strategic projects - and should be treated so as well.
Typically customers we work with
Our customers typically have a CSR strategy but have not yet worked systematically with engaging their suppliers. Some companies have a Code of Conduct and some have signed the Global Compact.
Problems we help solve
Typically we help companies solve problems like:
- How to develop a Responsible Procurement strategy
- Training of internal workforce and suppliers
- Implementation of risk management tool (supply chain).
- Analysis of the company´s supply chain in relation to risk, the possibility to drive down cost related to social and environmental aspects and fascilitate innovational processes - which helps companies develop better and more social and environmental friendly products and services.
- Ad hoc advice: Further development of the companies Responsible Procurement strategies.
