About me

The year 2007 was looking good and I was about to complete my minimum job need for getting pension at the age of 43 from my Government. After my request for early retirement (the retiring age is 60 years) was approved, suddenly the things started to look dim and the Economy started a whirlwind down trend. I had at least 3 confirmed job offers which vanished as soon as I approached them with my availability. It took me couple of months to realize that things are slipping fast and I have to pay rent, bills and bring grocery for kitchen. Before I could fall in a ditch, I started an odd job to run my kitchen.

I was confident due to my experience and background coupled with degrees that a good job would be on the way very soon but it never happened. The Jobs market became bad to worse and then even worsen. I kept on sending my resumé to every job board and every possible opportunity and kept on receiving information that someone else has been considered more appropriate or I am overly qualified for the job. I even had one successful telephonic interview and then followed by physical one where I was appreciated and informed that I will be able to start my job in two weeks time and then silence. I sent a follow-up email and was informed hmm well you are proactive, well qualified and really good but we don’t want to hire someone new at this moment.

No choice left except to start another odd job like driving a cab but licenses are not being issued(saturated), pizza delivery……….I can’t do it because I hate cooking part. What are the options left? I am jobless for the last two months and looking at my laptop day night. I found out that new Social Net Working thing has evolved during last couple of years and everyone is trying to jump into this bandwagon. After thinking a lot I suddenly realized that I have a degree in International Marketing, I can do full cycle Accounting, I know Executive Coaching, I am even Professional Interpreter in two languages i.e Urdu and Punjabi and I am also capable of Business Development, Product Launching and Marketing. This prompted me apply for memberships to LinkedIn, Xing, ecademy,twitter, Biznik, getamarket and some others. I am also working on two websites to be launched very soon keyword is ANKSO and OSKAN………..Koneaxion……….everything is registered so don’t try to copy it unless you want to help me with some start-up capital so that I can make it a Big Company instead of One laptop, one family company.
