About me

Andrea Resmini is an information architect.
An ICT professional since 1989, Andrea holds a Master in Architecture
and Industrial Design and has been a teaching assistant of Generative
Design at the Faculty of Architecture, Politecnico di Milano, Milan
(IT). A guest researcher at JIBS in Jönköping (SE), Andrea is currently
pursuing a PhD in Legal Informatics at CIRSFID, Department of Computer
Science and Law, University of Bologna, Bologna (IT). He works on IA and
classification issues concerning historical and juridical databases, CMS
UX and topic maps.
Andrea is Board Coordinator for the Italian Information Architecture
Summit and currently leads the Higher Education in IA Working Group for
the Information Architecture Institute: he is also an active free
software supporter, a dedicated Linux buff, a grumpy and picky sysadmin and an amateur piano player.
