Project Description Telkom SA has been restructured in various Business Units. Due to the structure changes financial reporting per Business Unit has now become a requirement to provide accurate and up-to-date information relating to the internal management of the organization and to the external stakeholder domains. The scope for Program Quantum will implement the SAP New General Ledger (NewGL) including the migration of transaction data on SAP ERP ECC 6.0.
Furthermore, the Treasury Section uses the SAP Corporate Financial Management (CFM Ver. 4.7) to control and account for Cash Flow, Foreign Exchange and Cover as well as Portfolio Management. The CFM system runs on a separate hardware platform from the main SAP ERP and will therefore firstly be upgraded to Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) and in a second step be consolidated with the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 environment via SLO services.
