ANGELA NILSSON
born January 4, 1963 in Hamburg, Germany
• New company website under construction - to be launched in January 2010
to a brief description about me and my work!
♦
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND ♦
My professional life started
1983 in a small
advertising company in
Hamburg with
a training for advertising experts.
I changed over to the
study of psychology at the University of Hamburg, while I was working as a secretary in various international companies of different industries, mainly wholesale and foreign trade as well as trade and industry, at the same time.
I also absolved a certified additional two-years training in
systemic consulting and therapy at the Institute for Systemic Studies in Hamburg.
As a psychologist my main focus was
industrial-organistational business and advertising psychology, personnel development, crisis intervention as well as systemic consultng and strategic planning for Start-ups and small-sized companies
Furthermore, I have long-term experiences as a
psychological consultant/advisor in the field of legal services and was the founder and owner of a small
executive search company in Hamburg.
Music and art have always been a part of my life. During my academic high school years, I had the great privilege to get educated in
a special music class for many years.
I played the
violin in the philharmonic school orchestra and I also learned to play the
transverse flute .
Art was one of my thematic priorities not only during my schooltime and I have a well-founded knowledge about art history, art movement and different art mediums in theory and practice.
♦
(IAC) INTERNATIONAL ART & CULTURE concepts and communication ♦
2008, I took the chance “to get back to my roots” and started working in one of the most exciting, fulfilling, interesting and challenging fields: culture, music and art, based on my professional knowledge and experiences in the competitive economy.
IAC is a one-man company constituted under civil law, owned by me and associated by external international partners.
We develop
concepts to present culture, art and music in new ways , organize cultural events and try to find “market niches” in for all kinds of (inter-) cultural activities.
In
2010 we will launch
a new music label which will be based on traditional music from around the world .
The aim is to offer a wide range of musical characteristics of different cultures and countries, inviting the listener to a “musical journey around the world”.
Focus will be on musicians who are not well-known outside their own country.
Planned are common CD`s, concerts and projects.
Furthermore, we are involved and interested in all kinds of
cross-industry and cross-border co-operation with a potential for integration of different art, culture and music projects.
Main focus of my work is based on
intercultural exchange and cross-cultural communication, which is not only a part of my profession but a matter close to my heart as well.
I believe in better intercultural understanding by learning more about the cultures of this world, by respecting all kinds of cultural diversity and by being open-minded towards others in business life and in personal life as well.
And I believe in music and art as a universal language - one of the best and most wonderful "bridges" between people, uniting them in cultural diversity ...
Best regards,
Angela Nilsson
