Welcome to my XING-Profile,

my name is Anthony Thet (*1980 Germany) and to make a long story short: I LOVE MY JOB as a musician. (Guitar, Vocals, Songwriting, Marketing-Coach)

My father is a professional cello player and so I picked up the love of making music quite easy.

So now I've been working as a musician myself since age 17. At first I started out as just the guitar player for other solo artist and found my way into the live-bands of quite successful acts such as Ich+Ich, Lutricia McNeal, Natasha Thomas, Asher Lane and so on...

Though never getting tired of doing this, I still wanted to step into the frontline and so I started singing (rather late since I was already in my late twenties). Never the less I jumped into the Music-Competition-Show called X-Factor (broadcasted on VOX 2010 in Germany) and made it into the live-shows where I ended up being TOP 4. Maybe I should have found out about my singing abilities a little earlier :)

Next to being a musician I have studied Business Administration at the University of Technology Berlin specializing on Marketing. My focus was always on the marketing side of the music industry and this is exactly what I teach young art students in my workshops (at present at the "Deutsche POP Akademie Berlin"). I basically help them to find a way to stick out of the crowd using aprooved marketing tools.

But of course I'll keep doing what has always put a big ole smile on my face. Playing live is still the best...
