About me
I am an organizer with excellent planning skills. I prefer a structured and defined work environment, but I am also able to improvise and respond quickly to a changing situation. Combining consistency with flexibility is not easy, but I think is it possible to keep the balance between the two.
I have strong skills in conceptualizing and I love to have time to think about various things. Constant input keeps me going. At the same time, I am also practical oriented and hands-on.
Keeping the “big picture” in mind without neglecting the little things; I empower my team members and encourage learning. So far, I have been successful when it comes to training and motivating my team members. It is a great reward for me when employees tell me that they have learned something from me.
One of my strongest traits is my curiosity and strong will paired with the capability to learn fast and to teach myself. The worst thing that I can think of is a stand still in development and no further stimuli. I have a business starter mentality and I love to set things up, but I prefer somebody else to maintain it.
I am results driven and expect high performance from my team members, and I believe the best way to achive this is leading by example. Fair and respectful treatment of all stakeholders, are principles that I follow and I have a strong sense of integrity and ethical responsibility.
You guessed it, my job is my passion and that can be sometimes at the cost of my private life. To compensate my busy work life which also includes my studies at university, I am traveling twice per year. My top two favorite tv channels are Nat Geo and Animal Planet and when I travel, I am always trying to explore the nature and wildlife. Vacation for me means getting up before sunrise and sitting in the forest to watch a certain animal doing whatever it does. If I can enjoy a decent meal with a good glass of wine in the evenings, the trip is perfect.
