About me

I am working primarily in development aid, specifically managerial capacity building for NGOs in Africa and other countries. I am living in Ulm and Berlin with infrequent visits to Brussels.

In the past, I have been working in EU Public Affairs for government, non-profit and private actors. I have been working in both industrialized and developing countries and previously employed as project manager, editor and media relations officer. My strongest interest is with intercultural encounters and the transfer of knowledge from the "knowledge-rich" to those most in need of vital know-how.

I am particularly fascinated by building the capacities of social entrepreneurs and linking them up to create strong, lasting international networks that will enable them to work more effectively than they could alone. I offer some special expertise in trans-national project development, EU external relations policies and related financial support instruments.

I am looking for "enthusiastic Europeans": people engaged in transnational projects, foundations and donors active in the EU's ENP regions, young people wishing to link up across Europe to build new and innovative networks to bring about sustainable change where it is most needed. I am presently most active across European countries and parts of Africa, including the RD Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Mozambique and Egypt. I appreciate contacts to any other country as well.
